Dear Customer:

Prices for aluminum ingot reached an all-time high on February 27, 2008.  Additionally, record crude oil prices have resulted in significant cost increases for transportation and other associated components.  As a result, Alcan Cable will implement a price increase on all Aluminum Bare, Service and Building Wire Cable products effective March 1, 2008. The approximate increases will be as follows:

• Bare Products – 12%
• 600v Overhead Service Cable Products – 10%
• 600v Underground Service Cable Products -10%
• XHHW, FeederPlex, USE, SEU and SER Building Wire Products – 8%
• MC Cable and MC Cable with jacket – 6%

The new price sheets will be available on our web site at www.cable.alcan.com no later than the close of business February 28th.

Beginning March 1, 2008 all orders will be priced at the new levels.
