Alcan Cable's Multiplexed Overhead Service and Secondary Cables provide exceptional performance and reliability.  Alcan provides a full range of overhead service and secondary cables available in constructions of one or more insulated conductors and one bare neutral conductor.  Insulation on the phase conductors can be black low density crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) or black high molecular weight - low density polyethylene (PE) depending upon the application.  To ensure exceptional product quality, Alcan Multiplexed Overhead Service and Secondary cables meet or exceed requirements of ANSI/ICEA S-76-474.

The cable assembly may be used as a service drop (power pole to service entrance) or as a secondary cable (pole to pole). XLPE insulated cables are rated for 90° C operation, and PE are rated for 75° C.
