Alcan's All Aluminum Alloy Conductor (AAAC) cable is a concentric lay-stranded bare conductor consisting of aluminum alloy 6201 wires available in both single layer and multi-layer constructions.

Alcan AAAC cable meets or exceeds industry requirements per ASTM specifications B-398 and B-399.

Alcan's AAAC cable offers better sag performance due to the high strength to weight ratio provided by the 6201 alloy.  In addition, AAAC conductors provide higher corrosion resistance than ACSR conductors.
