Alcan is the only truly vertically integrated cable manufacturer in North America owning and operating bauxite mines, smelting, rod production and downstream fabrication operations on a global basis. To show our continued commitment to our utility customers' wire and cable needs today and into the future, Alcan opened a new aluminum smelter and rod mill in Alma, Quebec. Alma will keep Alcan in a position to service our customers and provide the security of supply you have come to expect from Alcan Cable.

These services are designed to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership for our products and/or enhance customer revenues.
