· Completed over 2.3 million work hours without a single Lost Time Injury.
· Successfully decreased energy consumption at our LaPointe plant by 10%.
· Reduced carcinogenic, mutagenic, and reproductive toxins by 64%.
· Sponsored the Anti-Counterfeit Products Initiative organized by The Electrical Distributor magazine to raise awareness of the potential dangers of non-compliant products.
· Received recognition from FirstEnergy, the nation’s fifth largest investor-owned electric system, for our emergency response efforts after Hurricane Ike.
· Achieved the Energy Star Rating for 2009 at our Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
