STABILOY® Tray Cable Type TC

Alcan Cable’s Tray Cable Type TC is designed to be used in cable trays for service, feeder or branch circuit applications. This cable uses XHHW-2 conductors that are phase identified, including one insulated black conductor, one insulated white conductor, and one insulated conductor with a single longitudinal red stripe. If provided, a fourth insulated conductor has a single longitudinal blue stripe.

Features

  • Three or four insulated conductors cabled together with a bare equipment grounding conductor
  • Sunlight resistant with a maximum operating temperature of 90°C in dry and wet locations
  • Meets the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories Inc., Standard #1277 for Type TC Power and Control Tray Cables, Standard #44 for insulated conductors
  • Listed for direct burial, wet locations, and sunlight resistance
  • Approved for use in Class I and II, Division 2 hazardous locations.
  • Approved for use in cable trays, raceways, outdoor locations and where supported by a messenger wire, in accordance with the requirements of the National Electrical Code®
  • Recognized by ASTM in Standards B 800, B 801, B 836 and B 901
