General
As an instructor in the Electrical department at a local community college, it would be very helpful to have a cross reference of conductor and cable construction between U.S. and Canada cable products. For instance, what are R90 conductors called in the U.S.? What are RA90 single conductors called in the U.S.?
Insulation types used in the U.S. and Canada are similar, but not identical. For example, XHHW-2 and RW90 are used in basically the same way. The same is true of USE-2 and RWU90, ACWU and MC Cable, and NMD90 and SE Cable. However, you cannot say these are exactly equivalent constructions since the product standards require different testing and constructions, and the electrical codes define differing requirements and limitations for the use of each of these products.
Do you make a twisted, shielded pair, Article 760, CI Classification, Type FPL, Fire Alarm Cable which meets UL 1424 and UL 2196?
No - we do not manufacture a cable for this application.
