Alcan Cable Announces Price Increase on STABILOY® Feeder Cable Products Effective October 5, 2010

Dear Valued Customer:
This letter is to inform you that Alcan Cable will increase prices on the following aluminum wire and cable products effective Tuesday, October 5, 2010:
- All STABILOY® FeederPlex HS™ XHHW-2, WIDESTRIPE HS™ XHHW-2 and USE products will increase approximately 11%
- All STABILOY® SEU and SER products will increase approximately 7%
- All STABILOY® MC Cable products will increase approximately 5%
These adjustments are necessary to offset increased costs of aluminum and other manufacturing components of these products.
All quotes and bids will be priced at the new levels beginning Tuesday, October 5, 2010.
